“Love Day” Heart Quilt in Pink
Every day is a good day to stitch up a little love…
I’ve been dreaming of a simple heart quilt with a pink background. (What would the Lovestruck collection be without a heart quilt?) Once I had whipped up a batch of hearts, I just knew they wanted to be strung together like a party banner. And so the “Love Day” heart quilt was born.
Pattern Tidbits
“Love Day” is a beginner friendly heart quilt. It utilizes an easy-corner triangle technique and can be made from fat quarters or fat eighths. It feature Lovestruck fabric – my newest collection for Moda Fabrics that will be shipping to shops in November.
Here’s a look at the full mockup. I’ve staggered the hearts from row to row, alternating whole- and half-heart shapes. Of course, you can arrange them any way you like if you’d prefer whole-heart blocks all the way.
