Christmas Morning Fabric

Christmas Morning honeybun by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics

No matter how old we become, Christmas always brings a thrill of hope. Think of a morning of freshly fallen snow, cozy slippers, and happy little tiptoes down the stairs. Grab a mug of hot cocoa, snuggle up in a handmade quilt, and take in the spirit of comfort and joy around the tree. The Christmas Morning collection is a scrapbook of all the best feelings of the holiday season. Bring serenity home with the sweet sprigs of holly, turtle doves, twinkly stars, yuletide stripes, and wintery bouquets of cranberry, sage, and silver.

Love all Kellan patterns, but especially the Sunflowers.

I love the quilt pictured with Christmas Morning fabrics. It’s poinsettias quilt fashion and similar to diamond dust. I’m more of a traditionalist in designs I choose. I’m not seeing specific name of pattern but it’s a perfect Christmas pattern abd fabrics!!

I love Folktale! It is an amazing line. I am in the process of gathering and so many of the prints are sold out. Did you think Folktale would be as popular as it is? And I can’t wait for Christmas morning either it’s my second favorite but I really do love all your lines. Thanks for bringing us such beautiful collections to choose from.

      Hi Peg,
We never have an exact date on when the shipment will arrive from overseas. Sadly, there have been a lot of disruptions to the normal shipping schedules from the pandemic. My real guess would be Christmas Morning will arrive early June. Hope that helps! XO

Will you be doing a quilt along with Christmas Morning?

Well I’m sort of doing one right now with the Sewcialites Quilt Along. Maybe a Lovey Dovey quilt in Christmas Morning would make a good quilt along?

Help! I have just discovered your Christmas Morning collection, but cannot find the gorgeous red floral border anywhere. I live on a small island in Alaska without a fabric store and had not seen this wonderful line anywhere until i ordered the Star Crossed Pines pattern and your collection was featured as an alternative and much more my style colorway. Is there any of the fabric hidden in a nook or cranny somewhere that you know of? I only need 2 yards of this precious and lovely fabric. “Pining” away at 6 degrees today, Sally Dwyer in Petersburg, Alaska

Hi Sally! Thanks for commenting. This collection has been very popular, which unfortunately means that it is selling out fast. You may want to do a good old fashioned google search to see if you can find some of that specific yardage. Etsy is also a great place to search.

Hi Jenine! The Rose in Bloom pattern uses 6″ finished size sample blocks. Hope that helps!

Is it possible to purchase a fat-quarter for each of the red patterns for Christmas Morning? Thank you very much.

Christmas Morning is a couple years old now and out-of-print, unfortunately. You might be able to find some on ebay if you’re lucky. You will have better luck with its sequel, Christmas Eve that is in shops now. (I don’t generally carry the fabric myself but prefer to support the quilt shops instead.) Hope that helps!

If you could have Christmas Morning reissued, it would easily sell out again! I would really love to make the quilt Silent Night by Pattern Basket that uses the light (low volume) fabrics from your Christmas Morning collection — the photo of that quilt is stunning!

Have you checked out Christmas Eve currently in shops? It’s a sister collection (matches perfectly) so you get get a very similar look if you like 🙂
