Sewcialites Quilt Along: Free Block of the Week (Block 14)
Time to meet another quilt block of the Sewcialites Quilt Along by Fat Quarter Shop. I jumped into the Quilt Along in the middle but am finally catching up with the preceding blocks. Block 14 is “Serenity” by Chelsi Stratton Designs.

Fabric + Layout
I wanted a lighter feel to this block, so I used a white text print + pale grey magic dot from my Christmas Morning fabric collection. I’m making 40 blocks for my final layout. I will have 4 color groupings: 10 red blocks + 12 green blocks + 16 grey blocks + 2 light, low volume blocks. This may go into that low volume pile.
