10 Cute Heart Quilts to Love
It’s that time of year to get out all the heart quilts… do you have any? Today, I’m rounding up a bunch of my favorite heart quilt projects for a little valentines inspiration. Hope you feel the love from all of these designers and their creations.
I’m totally head over heels for this Layer Cake quilt in Nutmeg fabric by BasicGrey. You can download the “Heart Strings” quilt at the BasicGrey pattern shop as a PDF or printed booklet here. (It’s their $5 pattern in January 2023!)
Love this simple heart pattern by Allison Harris at Cluck Cluck Sew. You can get the “Box of Hearts” quilt pattern in her shop as either a PDF or printed booklet format.
Make a batch of “Open Heart” blocks using some beloved fat quarters or fat eighths. The pattern is on sale for $5 this month (January 2023). Be sure to snag Open Heart in PDF or paper formats here.
Here’s a cute mix of striped hearts from Emily Dennis of Quilty Love. There are 4 different size options available in this quilt pattern – download the Infinite Hearts Quilt PDF pattern here. Emily has some really cute heart patterns in her shop, check out the others while you’re there! She’s even doing a quilt along for one of them.
Cupid’s arrow has landed! This adorable Lovestruck block pattern is a freebie from Allison at Cluck Cluck Sew. Download the free Lovestruck PDF pattern on her site here.
7. Together – A Quilting Life
How sweet is this heart sampler by Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life?! There is something so classic about red and white quilts. You can get her “Together” heart sampler quilt in her Etsy shop here.
You may remember this one from my Love Note collection a few years ago. Lovey Dovey uses traditional piecing – a combination of beginner half square triangle and easy corner triangles techniques to make the doves and hearts. Lovey Dovey is available in my pattern shop here.
Totally swooning over this one by my friend, Chelsi Stratton. Love the way she incorporate the heart into a log cabin design. You can grab the Hearts at Home pattern in her shop here. Chelsi actually has quite a few quilt patterns – you may want to look around her shop and browse the others.
This one is actually one of my very first quilt pattern designs. Since Heartthrob is Jelly Roll friendly, it made its way into my book, Jelly Filled – 18 Quilts From 2-1/2″ Strips (Stash Books).
I hope you’ve enjoyed this parade of heart quilts. Do you have a favorite I should have included? Let me know in the comments below!
