Sewcialites Quilt Along: Free Block of the Week (Block 2)
Here’s the next quilt block for the Sewcialites Quilt Along by Fat Quarter Shop. Since I got a late start to the quilt along, I’ll be posting one block every day (besides the Friday new release) until I’m caught up. Block 2 is “Loyal” by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings.

Fabric + Layout
Fabric is my upcoming Christmas Morning fabric collection for Moda Fabrics (shipping sometime in July).
For my layout, I’ll be using 40 quilt blocks in the 6″ finished block size. They will be divided into the following color groups: 10 red + 12 green + 16 grey + 2 low volume. This block is going in the grey pile! The color groupings will make more sense once you’ve seen my layout:
