Sewcialites Quilt Along: Free Block of the Week (Block 24)
It’s Friday – I’m in love. Meet the latest quilt block for the Sewcialites Quilt Along by Fat Quarter Shop: Block 24 is “Abundant” by Robin Pickens. A gorgeous little tulip quilt block–just in time for spring.
FABRIC + LAYOUT
Since I’m using the Christmas Morning fabric collection, mine is a little Christmas tulip. I made the 6″ finished block size. I think I smiled the whole time I pieced it. I’m making 40 blocks total and arranging them into groups by color: 10 red + 12 green + 16 grey + 2 low volume. This breakdown will make sense once you’ve seen my layout:
