It was a stroke of luck that I started working on my Christmas Morning collection in the spring of 2020. The pandemic had just arrived, and with it– fear and uncertainty for so many of us. Thinking about Christmas and its special spirit during such a chaotic time was a welcome gift. I suppose it was only natural that a theme of peace should make its way to the fore. My first little sketch became what is now the Peace on Earth panel.

The Peace on Earth panel is a whole-cloth panel and is part of the Christmas Morning collection for Moda Fabrics. It features a sweet dove framed with a festive faux border of matching patchwork blocks. The panel measures 58″ x 69″ (lap size).

No piecing is required. Just quilt + bind + love. Of course, you can always make it bigger by adding a border of your favorite print. Like the Little Tree panel from several years ago, this would make a great gift. Of course, you will want to make sure you keep one for yourself.
