“Meet Cute” Quilt in True Love Fabric
When perfect prints meet, magic happens… Think of this quilt design as a rom-com starring your favorite fabric collection – fat quarters, fat eighths, or even scraps! Every print gets its own moment to shine in this geometric beauty – and you can let them mix and mingle however you like. I’ve arranged the blocks in a gentle color order, but feel free to shake things up and let chance decide the final look!

Fabric
This “Meet Cute” triangle quilt can be made with (30) fat eighths, (15) fat quarters, or scraps. The mockup and quilt model uses 1 fat eighth bundle of my True Love fabric collection for Moda Fabrics (30/31 prints used!). The background print is Magic Dot SKU #5230 39 “Cloud” and creates a nice contrast against all colors in the collection – but especially the cream prints. Simple, geometric designs like this make really great “boy” quilts but are versatile enough to showcase any collection.

Tips & Tricks
“Meet Cute” uses an easy corner triangle technique + a little slice ‘n dice action to achieve the geometric look of the design. My biggest tip in piecing this one really just comes to trimming the finished block… Get a 7.5″ squares ruler. (A ruler in the exact size of the unfinished block allows you to keep the block centered while also making sure the diagonal seams remain 45 degree angles in all 4 corners. I love this specific ruler because it has the 45 degree lines already marked on the ruler.) This “Meet Cute” quilt was so much funfor me to piece and was the quickest of the new batch!
I also want to point out that I arranged the blocks in color order from row to row, but of course you can experiment and arrange it as scrappy as you like!
