Dreamer – Star Tile Quilt
Not all dreams are made of stardust – some are made from pretty fabric. Meet “Dreamer” – a totally cosmic quilt bursting with a kaleidoscope of color and a whole lot of dazzle. Designed for Layer Cakes or fat eighths, this tile-inspired beauty is ready to turn your scraps into something stellar.
Pattern Tidbits
The “Dreamer” star tile quilt uses a beginner easy corner triangle technique, and there are two different blocks created/alternated in the layout. I would classify this pattern as more “advanced” even though the technique itself is beginner – because of the many pieces/steps. This quilt is more of a slow burn… it took me about 40 hours to piece. One of my favorite things about “Dreamer” is the attention to pressing direction in the instructions – it insures all those seams nest together like a dream come true. 😉
The Fabric
I pieced this quilt using 2 Layer Cakes of my Wild Honey collection (arriving to shops Nov 2025). Even though I used the same collection for both Layer Cakes, feel free to mix collections! I should also mention that I used Magic Dot “Midnight” navy color (SKU 5230 41) for the accent stars. I really wanted something to contrast the collection and make those stars “pop.”
