Iconic 2 Charm Pack Quilt
Get out the lawn chairs and grab a cold beverage. It’s time for a parade of charm square prints set against a cool modern backdrop. Grab (4) charm packs from a single collection – or mix and match what you have in your stash for a scrappy delight. “Iconic 2” offers a mini block version of the Layer Cake original and is an instant classic.
Pattern Tidbits
“Iconic 2” has a patterned geometric vibe and looks good in any fabric collection. The background is split into two colors – and while I used grey/white in this example, choose what you like to make those pretty prints pop. I also want to point out that this quilt can be made with virtually any precut in your stash; fat quarters, fat eighths, Layer Cakes, etc. The piecing is straightforward and has been classified as belonging to the “confident beginner” category.
Make it in Old Glory Fabric
The Old Glory fabric collection is expected to arrive to quilt shops in February. If this is a collection you are interested in (or you’re hoping to reserve a kit), the best thing to do is contact your favorite local/online shop to request it now.
