Hey there! Welcome to Day 1 of the Moda Schoolhouse Blog Hop. I’ve created a playful little block for you called Recess–though maybe I shouldn’t say ‘little’ since it finishes at 18″!

Make one block into a pillow, stitch up a few for an autumn table runner–or make sixteen for a nice big quilt (72″ x 72″). I’ve mocked it up in my Harvest Road fabrics (shipping to shops the end of October). I think this collection could produce a lot of pretty block combinations, what do you think?
