Jelly Filled Parade {Chapter 4}
Welcome to Day 4 of the Jelly Filled Quilt Parade! Every day this week, I’m sharing a little about my book, Jelly Filled – 18 Quilts from 2½” Strips chapter by chapter. If you’ve been following along, you also know I have invited a few of my favorite designers to add their own spin to designs from my book. They’re each giving away a copy of the Jelly Filled book, so be sure to stop by their websites to enter!
Today the focus is on Chapter 4: “Half-Square Triangles.” This is another beginner technique to add angles to blocks–but creates individual triangle units within a square.
Quilt no. 10 is “Cookie Cutter.” My mockup uses Return to Winter’s Lane by Kate & Birdie for Moda Fabrics.
– – – > The guest designer for this quilt is Amy Smart at Diary of a Quilter. You can check out her version on her blog, on Instagram @diaryofaquilter, and on Facebook here. Here is a little peek, I think it’s just darling in her new Sugarhouse Park fabric!
Quilt no. 11 is “Parade.” Fabric is Nest by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics.
– – – > The guest designer for this quilt is Allison Black at AB Quilting Studio. You may recognize her name, she does a lot of long arm quilting for me and has such beautiful work. You can check out her version of Parade on Instagram @abquiltingstudio, and on Facebook here. She used the Bee Creative and Bee Inspired fabric lines by Deb Strain for Moda Fabrics.
Quilt no. 12 is “Stargazing.” My mockup uses Quill by 3 Sisters for Moda Fabrics.
