$5 in February – Mountainside Fat Eighth Quilt Pattern
My heart has always belonged to the mountains. Out of this love, the Mountainside quilt was born. You can get it in February for only $5.
I first introduced the Mountainside quilt in Smoke & Rust fabrics back in October. This is your first look at the tester pattern that I made for myself! Fabric is primarily a mix of Cider + Persimmon fabric by BasicGrey–more details later in the post.
The Mountainside quilt blocks are beginner level construction. The mountain blocks are set on point (i.e. at a 45-degree angle), making this a really great intro to on-point settings for anyone who is new to it. I know you’ll love making this one.

April 21, 2021 at 11:05 amIs there a way to see a full picture of this quilt. I’ve bought the pattern (along with several others of yours) and the Cider fabric by Basic Grey. I could not find Persimmon anywhere. I’d would love to recreate it as closely as I can. I’m new to quilting and don’t have much experience with putting fabric together on my own. Thanks.
