“Wild Heart” Pillow in Garden Glam fabric
There’s something about a patchwork pillow that never gets old – especially when it’s dressed up like this. The “Wild Heart” pillow in Garden Glam fabric is giving fresh flowers on the table, sunlight through the window, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. It’s equal parts sweet and bold – meant to steal the spotlight (or your favorite chair).

The Original
This “Wild Heart” pillow originated in my Love Blooms subscription box from a couple year ago. (The pattern is available to everyone now.) You may notice a little difference between the two samples… The original Love Blooms version (seen below) uses 1/2 yards of pale pink Magic Dot (5230 34 “Pink Lemonade”) + 1 fat eighth of red Magic Dot (5230 32 “Strawberry”). Plus background and pillow backing materials – see the full materials list HERE.

The Garden Glam Version
In the newest versino, I decided to split up the 1/2 yard of pale pink fabric to add a third (dark pink) accent print to frame the heart. It’s an easy adaptation – just gather 1/4 yard of the pale pink Magic Dot (5230 52 “Carnation”), 1/4 yard of the dark pink Magic Dot (5230 53 “Rose Water”), and 1 fat eighth of the main floral print for the heart (5270 16). It does not matter whether the 1/4 yards are traditional yardage cuts or fat quarters, by the way!
