Love is in the air – and oh, it’s oh-so-sweet! Cupid has been hard at work, curating a vibrant array of pinks and reds for this fresh and flirty fabric collection. With boho arrows, little striped hearts, posh petals, and charming checkers, our Love Blooms collection is sure to sweep you off your feet. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself head over heels for this one – Cupid really outdid himself!

A little birdie (Moda) told me that Love Blooms fabric is making its way to shops. It’s such a luscious, happy collection – and I feel like I didn’t get a proper amount of time to actually get to play with it. I see more projects in my future. Of course I designed it as a valentines fabric collection, but I think there are so many ways to make this collection an everyday group. It will be trickling into your favorite shops over the next few weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out!

The Projects

Here are the lovely little valentines quilt projects I’ve dreamed up this time around. When I previewed the collection in Chicago, I had so many people comment what great wedding quilts these would make. It didn’t even occur to me originally, but I have to agree. I also just love the idea of getting these cheery quilts out after the holidays are over and the winter blues try to creep in.

I also have a free pattern to make some cute little stuffed hearts. The pattern is for the basic heart but I include some embellishment ideas in my blog post here. I would love to create an updated version soon to include the instructions for the front slanted pocket. I know some people want printed copies so I plan to get on that soon. Stay tuned. It makes for such a cute little handout for all the loves in your life.
