Country Rose Fabric by Lella Boutique
Walk down the old dirt road and across the little bridge by the stone cottage. Smell the freshly-cut hay, and see the patches of blue sky through the treetops. Wander down the lane a bit further to see sheep grazing in a meadow, pause to gather a bouquet of country blooms growing along the roadside. If there’s a summer rain, wrap yourself in a handmade quilt and read a book while sipping rose hips tea.
Country Rose hearkens to a sweet day in the countryside, and the beauty that comes in the simple things of life.
Country Rose by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics. This collection is previewing now and will arrive to shops August 2022. This is a sister collection to my popular (out of print) group, Farmer’s Daughter.
Stay tuned for more posts with all the details about the new quilt patterns, coordinating solids, and more. The new Country Rose patterns are up in the shop if you’d like a peek. To celebrate the new stuff, enjoy 20% off in the shop through 3.13.22. (excludes sale items)

March 7, 2022 at 4:46 amThe first fabric I bought for learning to quilt was a jelly roll of Farmer’s Daughter. Not knowing how things work, I assumed I could go back any time and buy more. I’ve been waiting for this day for almost four years!🥰

March 8, 2022 at 4:12 pmThank you for your sweet comment, Vicki! I do think the pinks and medium green will match but the blues are going to be a lot different from each other. The blue is more like that in Folktale. Hope that helps.

March 8, 2022 at 4:14 pmHey Greg! Thanks for your input, I’m glad you like it! It will blend with quite a few! Of course it will mix well with Farmer’s Daughter. The blue will match Folktale. The pink and medium green in Love Note will coordinate.

March 8, 2022 at 4:51 pmLove this line! Farmer’s daughter was before I started quilting and collecting my fabric stash so I’m very excited for this companion line! I also would love to make your “starstruck” quilt with this fabric. I always have loved the coloring on the pattern for the starstruck mini and cannot wait to recreate that look with this fabric. Adding this to my fall calendar list of fabrics to purchase 🙂

April 11, 2022 at 10:32 pmI fell in love with “Love Note” and my mom is a sewer and I am a quilter now as of covid and I am making her a beautiful quilt with love note and just when I thought it could not get better it did with “Country Rose” cause while “Love Note” is my moms colors and I love it also, the Yellow and Black in the “Country Rose” says my name all over it. I am blessed to be able to use the fabric to make my mom her dream quilt and I am hoping to land some “Country Rose” fabric for myself. I have spent the most money ever of “Love Note” and it will last a lifetime and have such great memories once I am done and gift it to her. Thanks for your talent and blessing us all.

April 13, 2022 at 4:41 pmOh Heather, what a sweet note! I’m so flattered you felt a connection to these fabric collections. I love the idea of you making your mom her dream quilt. What a sweet keepsake that will be for her. She will think of you every time she snuggles up with it.
