Playing Cupid (Heart and Arrow Quilt)
Get ready to fall head over heels with the strike of Cupid’s golden arrow! Made with a Layer Cake or fat eighths, this charming quilt design is full of pretty patchwork hearts sure to make yours skip a beat. For anyone who loves to sew in pretty shades of pink and red, this “Playing Cupid” quilt is a match made in heaven (or in the sewing room).
Pattern Tidbits
“Playing Cupid” has two different heart blocks to piece (6 of them are striped hearts) + 22 golden arrows. I would consider this heart and arrow quilt “advanced beginner” skill level – using flying geese and easy corner triangle techniques. I have all the arrows pointing left, but you could always alternate them row to row if you want to mix it up! This was a cheery one to piece.

May 2, 2024 at 11:46 amVanessa, you’ve outdone yourself! I’ve already pre-ordered 3 yards of this entire line with 5 yards of each of the polka dots fabrics. I’m planning on using this for Christmas projects. Hoping you’ll do a Halloweenish fabric line or least a polka dot selection of fabrics – they make the best backgrounds!
