My Favorite Bedtime Story

Thank you for the birthday wishes! I loved hearing about your favorite bedtime stories and how some of them have become family traditions. So neat!

A big congrats to Lisa E. who won the fat eighth bundle and and pattern prize. She said “My daughters had a lot of stuffed bunnies, so we made up bedtime stories about the softies.

Into the Woods

One of my favorite bedtime stories was “The Boy and the North Wind.” I found an excellent retelling of it here if you are interested in hearing it.

We’re in the final days of the 30% discount in my shop. Just use the promo code PIONEERBABY in July AND if you purchase 3 patterns or more you also get a free mini charm pack of Into the Woods (while supplies last).

Vanessa, I loved the giveaway! And happy birthday a few days late! I discovered your blog through your download from favequilts.com, Simple Autumn Table Runner. I love this- thanks for making the tutorial. I have a question about it- I notice that you did the lines of quilting last, after the top and back had been sewn together and the edges were already finished. Here's my question- when you got to the ends of the quilting stitches (the edges of the runner), did you backstitch, or how did you secure the ends of the stitching? I'm afraid backstitiching would show or stand out? I will go with your recommendations! 🙂 Thank you so much- I'm a new follower on Pinterest!
